Description
Unlike large solar panel systems that can take many years to pay for themselves, our Geo Mains Free Solar Lighting Kits deliver instant savings. Installing a lighting supply to remote locations isn't always possible and is often highly expensive when it is.Our Geo kits can be installed by anyone with basic DIY skills and are exempt from Part P of the building regulations which means there is no need to pay an electrician to have your kit installed and certified.
The Geo 2 - Mains Free Solar Lighting Kit can be used with a 12ah or greater 12v battery. It is recommended however that if you are only using a low capacity battery that you either add a charge controller to the system or disconnect it when not in regular use, to prevent overcharge.
Geo 2 Applications
The Geo 2 will light an area of 32 square metres making it ideal for medium / large sized rooms, sheds, garages, outhouses, wendy houses, greenhouses and tree houses. As well as providing you with lighting you can use the charge stored in the battery for powering a variety of small electronic devices.
What Battery Do I Need?
You can choose a battery using the drop down selector above the Add to Basket button. If you already have a 12v battery you can use it with this kit, please note using a lower capacity then recommended will reduce the length of time the lights run for.
