Kensington Solar Wall Light

was delighted, now not so sure Bought 4 of these last year and they worked fantastically and was very pleased. They even converted my anti solar husband! I turned them off during the winter months since we weren't outside, but now they are turned back on only 1 out of the 4 is working. I'd love to know if there are any known remedies as i love the lights, but rubbish if they don't work! By Teri Russell

Could be greener I have just bought another one of these.The first failed after 2 winters. 2 of the leds would not light. I replaced the batteries. No change. As I had dismantled the light to change the batteries I could see it was easy to replace the whole strip of leds. Unfortunately I was told by customer service that I could not buy a strip of leds to repair my light. As I had to buy another light this does bring the companies "green philosophy"into question. If they would sell me a strip of leds I could make use of the extra light. Whilst they work the lights are fine. I wonder what I would be saying if I did not do this review until 2 years have elapsed!! By Leslie Burgess

Kensington wall light This is an excellent product. It works well even though we have positioned it on a north east facing wall and provides a soft glow which illuminates our path. It stays on until late at night, and this is in February. Neat and contemporary in appearance, well made and easy to fit. We will definitely buy another one. By Rachel Ridgeway

Satisfied Not as bright as i was hoping but it does work right through the night every night so i guess it was designed that way. By Ash

back garden having just got 4 of the Kensington wall lights one is not working tried the pin to turn it on are off so have put them out to charge see if it works then three of the lights came on By john

Kinsington Solar Wall Light Nice light (I bought 2) but i bought them to illuminate two Slate house name plaques. Unfortunately they do not throw light downwards as the photographs indicate, but only project away from the light. The photos are misleading to some degree. I made a polished reflector and bonded to the light to reflect the light down. Now OK. Bright and long lasting so far. By Stuart Worthington

Update Following on from my review last June and given the dark dismal winter we have experienced I thought I should add how impressed I,ve been with these lights.....coming on at dusk and most nights staying on until dawn ....even given the cloudy wet days with no sun....superb! By Colin Gillett

Ideal for small dark corners. I have only had the light up and running for 48 hours but I am 100% happy with the outcome as I purchased this item to give light to an otherwise dark corner in my front garden outside the door. If it keeps up the performance in the winter months of which it claims then I would happily give it 5 stars but until I see the evidence of this later in the year I can only give it 4 stars. Beautiful designed light. Do not know how long the batteries last. The only thing I dislike about reviews is that you are asked to do one after about a week in which case reviewing after such a short period you can not judge the product fairly.
