Unlike other solar spot lights on the market, The Super Bright 3 double-sized LED Solar Spot Light has 2x1000mAh Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries this enables it to operate for much longer than rival spot lights making it ideal for variable UK weather conditions.

Installation

I ordered the Helios Spot lights and I am VERY disappointed ... I charged them for 3 days in full sun and only one of them even works giving off about 1 metre of light! Question:

Bought three. One is pretty useless and is probably faulty. The other two give a good bright light after a good sunny day but are no good after a dull day. I think they will all be disappointing in the winter months. They are all facing South by the way. By Malcolm Priaulx on Aug 20, 2015

verey disappointed only about 3mt range if lucky did has said charge for 3days before first use then only got about 1.2mt range then was told two give 5days to charge now if we lucky we get about 3-4mt not like it says up to 8mts bit missleading bought to light up waterfall on our pond waste of money By richard barber on Oct 19, 2014

I bought and fitted this just over 2 weeks ago. In contrast to the other reviews, I have found that mostly it is not bright. I am disappointed, although I suppose it might depend on the local climate- I live in Manchester; and the time of the year. Question:

I cemented the lights using the ground spikes on top of a wall. The recent storm sadly snapped one off just where the spike joins the light.The other one is still OK. By stuart crookshank on Dec 08, 2013

It works! Even in the winter gloom. To be honest, I thought it would give more light output, but maybe I was expecting too much. I will have to buy more lights to illuminate one particular feature. But if I went the traditional lighting route, it would have cost Â£40 an hour to hire an electrician, plus the material costs and the ongoing electricity costs. From what I have seen so far they do as they say on the box, as to whether the will reach their full charge in the winter will be case of waiting and see . Good quality light. Extremly bright and does exactly what I needed it for. Delivery was brilliant. Only downside was that the pole was missing and when I called up i was told the design had changed and there was no longer a pole provided. Question:

Product is straightforward. Reasonably robust. Haven't had a very sunny 2 day stretch to fully charge the unit but reasonable light on the tress.. I would dispute 8m of lighting but whilst a weaker strength than hoped for still give a pretty effect. Once in place no additional costs which is a bonus. Did have a problem with delivery - they did not arrive and driver had put calling card through another house no where near ours! Second time it worked but an irritation. By Fiona on Mar 21, 2014
