The lantern looks lovely and is exactly what was required especially as you can screw the base to a brick pillar beside the gate. We saw them at a local garden centre. Ordered two, delivery was prompt. Installation was easy and they look great. The performance is impressive even though there is limited sunshine at the moment. Once I put on my glasses and found the on-off switch in an easy access position contrary to the sheet which got me trying to , it was plain sailing.
The unit is attractive and throws a light not far,but as we wanted it for just seeing the footpath and plants this was fine.
The delivery service from solar centre was excellent.
