Stunning I've purchased 2 of these lights from our local garden centre . The price was similar to buying direct . These are by far the best solar lights I have ever seen . The flickering effect through frosted glass is calming and illuminating. The fact that these lights can be charged by the usb lead provided is a big plus . The lights switch off automatically after 7 hours , still don't know how that happens but it works. The battery is replaceable. The lights look lovely in the conservatory. I'm well impressed. Impressive for the price I bought two of these for two reasons - to light my garden at night, and for set dressing when on weekend LARP events. After working out how to get them going the first time (definitely turn them on at dusk so you know when they've actually started up properly), they've looked really quite stunning in the dark and have been coping excellently on low power in the current winter gloom. My husband has described them as 'like that bit in a film where the Temple of Doom has a torch-lit path leading up to it but in a good way'. It's not quite realistic flame, but it's pretty darned close! I look forward to seeing how they look on full power mode in summer, and am considering picking up two more - many thanks to the sales person who contacted BathLARP and made me aware of the lanterns' existence. Great customer service Have made many purchases from the Solar Centre and all have been great products and delivered quickly. I purchased two of the lanterns both work brilliantly (literally) on the USB charge but one kept failing on the solar charge. On contacting Solar Centre I had a named contact who dealt quickly and effectively with the problem sending out a new lantern no quibble. I could not have asked for better customer care. Well done! Lantern Excellent light enhanced by the ability to charge during the winter months. Not sure why the glass is frosted as this detracts a little from the flame effect compared with the torch. By P Hewitt
