This beautifully designed USB chargeable solar powered crook lantern produces a stunning lighting effect which looks and moves exactly like a real flame.
Perfect for marking borders, flower beds and paths, the TrueFlame USB Solar Crook Lantern can be staked into the ground using the supplied crook stake, or you can sit the lantern on tables or decking. The TrueFlame is designed to work using solar power alone, but it can also be fully charged in just a few hours using the supplied USB charging cable.
TrueFlame solar lights are designed to work year-round in the UK and come complete with an optional Powersaving mode which reduces brightness in favour of longer run times.

I bought two of these for two reasons - to light my garden at night, and for set dressing when on weekend LARP events.
After working out how to get them going the first time (definitely turn them on at dusk so you know when they've actually started up properly), they've looked really quite stunning in the dark and have been coping excellently on low power in the current winter gloom. My husband has described them as 'like that bit in a film where the Temple of Doom has a torch-lit path leading up to it but in a good way'. It's not quite realistic flame, but it's pretty darned close!

I've purchased 2 of these lights from our local garden centre . The price was similar to buying direct . These are by far the best solar lights I have ever seen . The flickering effect through frosted glass is calming and illuminating. The fact that these lights can be charged by the usb lead provided is a big plus . The lights switch off automatically after 7 hours , still don't know how that happens but it works. The battery is replaceable. The lights look lovely in the conservatory. I'm well impressed. Very easy to set up, I charged it first time round with the USB lead, which took about 3 hours. Automatically switches on at dusk. Very bright and the yellow/orange flame effect is fantastic.
