Question:

When I posted my last review of the Canterbury I had had not such a good experience last year, with the top units rusting and failing entirely after only a few months outdoors. Solarcentre were very good and replaced them free of charge, the replacements had been modified to exclude some metal parts and are still working. Having ordered more this month I see there have been more design changes, including making them more water-resistant and incorporating a higher- and lower-output switching option. (It might help if the relevant P and S positions were actually indicated on the unit!) I've had them working only a week so can't comment further. By Paul on Jul 12, 2015

The P and S positions should be marked on the white plastic. It can be hard to see as it is only raised marking and not printed.

I ordered 2 and they work extremely well. They look elegant too. Just a small quibble - I tried to phone the company to ask about replacing batteries when the time comes but there was no answer on two occasions and the voicemail operated on another - and still I got no reply from them.
