Frequently Asked Questions
Question:
the brightness of the light is very good, and the fixing of it will be easy enough, but will the light work independent of the sensor. By john rantle on Nov 10, 2016 Answer:
The Guide will only activate and stay lit while motion is detected via the sensor.

Question:
Works and gives good light to path. By S Chambers on Nov 03, 2017 Helpful? 0 | 0
Question:
Small, neat unit with a good light output for it's size. It would benefit by having the light stay on a bit longer (useful when unloading the car). I fixed mine to my bungalow gutter using a small piece of wood as a clamp - looks good and works well, would be good if the unit came with a plastic strip (with tapped holes) which could be used as a clamp . Many thanks for the suggestion, we'll look into this.

Question:
Very pleased with this light.Have it mounted above my garage door so that it gives enough light to see me to the door of my house. By CDM on Sep 20, 2016 Helpful? 0 | 0
Question:
Attractive design. Prompt delivery. Have only had it a couple of weeks, and if it doesn't last longer than 3 years I think the battery ought to be replaceable, though this would require a weatherproof compartment. The PIR is more sensitive than I expected. I had to install it on a north facing wall and cannot expect full performance, but so far am very
satisfied, especially at the price. By C. Lockwood on Jan 18, 2017 Helpful? 0 | 0

Question:
I bought two of these to light the way to my back garden path. Really impressed with the amount of light they produce for their size.
Very, very happy with these items . I am a big fan of the Solar Centre and have purchased other products such as brick lights, wall lights and post lights in the past - I really will not go anywhere else for my solar lights, as the quality of the items cannot be beaten.
Very happy customer! keep up the good work By Alan Wallace on Apr 14, 2017 Helpful? 1 | 0
Question:
This is the third light I have bought. Very stylish, easy to install and does the job very well at a very affordable price
By J Ward on May 12, 2017 Helpful? 0 | 0
Question:
Rated as "pretty good" rather than "awesome" since the angle of the motion sensor is a tiny bit limited and on a narrow path to the side of my house it doesn't pick up until you are quite close to the light
when approaching side on. Having said that, the direction of the light is excellent and it is much brighter than a similar light that I bought over two years ago, presumably due to technological advances.
The unit itself is quite small, so if you are looking for a feature light, this probably isn't what you need. As a discreet back door light or similar it's ideal.
I've had mine for a couple of weeks now so it's had rain and sunshine and it functions perfectly in both. By T Hogg on May 30, 2017 Helpful? 0 | 0
