Curve Solar Motion Light

Good reliable lights We have used the lights to light our driveway and they work well. Those that are not ideally positioned (due to the shape of the drive and available mounting points) have not lasted as well as those in full sunlight, but overall a very satisfactory product. By Peter Gibson

Excellent lights We had been given one and having installed it above a doorway found it excellent, we have now ordered another 2 to put in areas where we had always thought would not be lit up as it was not worth the effort of installing mains lights. By Moira

OK but !!! Depending on where you are using it the light is ok if a little weak. I think the solar panel should be angled a bit to face the sun so the light can be tilted to shine out a bit . I bought this to go down the house side and seems to work ok where its darker but at the front i have it over the car in case anybody goes near but it is a bit restricted as it needs to pull away from the wall to be more effective . I bought these to save messing with running cables and messing but for £15 i could have bought a better mains light but there you go . Having said that it is fine for getting light to the dark corners. Excellent delivery time .thats my honest opinion. By Geoff

Reliable light Had this over the front porch for a few years now. It is in a south facing position and has never failed to work, even in winter. The light is bright enough to enable you to see to get the key in the door, but thankfully not a floodlight. Just right. By Anne Coombs

It Works It does what is says, except for the glow at night when not activated. The light is west facing with some trees to shade it to the south. The truth will be what happens in February. Nice light Received the light very quickly and had it up on the shed in no time. It works very well and gives off a good light. However, I can't help but wonder if these lights are really any different to the ones that appear to be the same ones sold on ebay for under a tenner. Whilst there may be some bargains on ebay a few of the differences we've noted on a number of the product copies we've seen include:
- inferior water proofing
- less powerful panel
- low quality and often low capacity battery
- low quality LEDs

Curve Solar Motion Light Excellent little product, plenty of light and easy to install (on single storey gutter in my case). Have bought two and just ordered another. Possible minor improvements With the push/push on/off switch it is not possible to tell if it has been switched on or off until it is dark and the battery charged. Also, when approaching alongside the building to which the light is fixed, activation could do with being extended further than the current 2m. 3m+ would be useful. Excellent product This is the second unit I have purchased and they are fitted on the south side of my house to light the way to my log/bin store. Very pleased with their performance . NOTE: The second unit arrived in an undamaged box but the metal fixing plate was bent implying it had been dropped prior to packing. However, it was easily bent back in place and the unit is working. Curve Solar Light Was concerned when I opened the box because its quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but it is also much brighter than I thought it would be so all's well that ends well. By Seb E
