The Curve Solar Motion Light is designed to guide you to your door after dark using only the power of the sun. Once motion is detected, after dark, the Curve lights up and stays fully lit until 30 seconds after motion stops. After motion stops the Curve goes back to standby mode until motion is detected again.

Description

Installation
The Curve is among the easiest solar lights to setup because there is no separate solar panel. Installing the Curve takes a matter of minutes simply by using the 2 supplied screws. Please note that the Curve must be installed outside in an unshaded location to work.

Whilst there may be some bargains on ebay a few of the differences we've noted on a number of the product copies we've seen include:
- inferior water proofing
- less powerful panel
- low quality and often low capacity battery
- low quality LEDs

Question:
Excellent little product, plenty of light and easy to install (on single storey gutter in my case). Have bought two and just ordered another.
Possible minor improvements
With the push/push on/off switch it is not possible to tell if it has been switched on or off until it is dark and the battery charged. Also, when approaching alongside the building to which the light is fixed, activation could do with being extended further than the current 2m. 3m+ would be useful. By Robert on Oct 26, 2015 Answer:

This is the second unit I have purchased and they are fitted on the south side of my house to light the way to my log/bin store. Very pleased with their performance .
NOTE: The second unit arrived in an undamaged box but the metal fixing plate was bent implying it had been dropped prior to packing. However, it was easily bent back in place and the unit is working. By GEORGE BALCOMBE on Nov 02, 2016 Answer:

got a light that looks identical to this from an amazon seller for £8. Took 3 weeks to arrive because it came from hong kong and it started playing up after a week. Went back on amazon and found the curve so phoned solar centre direct and they did me a discount. The lights do look the same but the curve is heavier better quality and brighter than the amazon one. My wife was very sceptical about buying a solar light but now after a year she wants to get some more.It is positioned above our porch which is south facing my wife works nights so when returning home it aids her in inserting the key into the door and because it is so bright it shines through the door glass helping her lock the door.Got ours in a sale for £12 will be keeping an eye out for the sale this year.
