The beauty of this light is that it can be stake or wall mounted. When stake mounted the light looks like any other high quality solar garden light but will suprise any unsuspecting intruders who won't anticipate it's hidden PIR functionality. The Solar Power Security Light looks fantastic when wall mounted and is ideal for front / back doors, garages and sheds. Once fully charge the light can activate up to 50 times during dark hours and will automatically charge the rechargeable Ni-MH batteries the following day.

Just bought another 1 of these.It's quite true it is very plasticky. I was a bit disappointed when I had the 1st 1 but I've had it 4 or 5 years and it's still going strong.Never changed the battery even.Only now is the 'glass' discolouring. It looks much better than it feels. Ordered as a present for my mum's Victorian house as most solar lights look too modern for the style of house. It was plasticky but I had read reviews so was expecting it, but as others have said I don't think it will notice once its up. I've purchased several lights from the solar centre recently and most of them have been very good. I particularly like the Canterbury lights.
Unfortunately this particular light is not up to the standards of the rest. It is very plasticky and the build quality is very poor. Considering this costs a lot more than the Canterbury lights I wasn't very happy.
