The beauty of this light is that it can be stake or wall mounted. When stake mounted the light looks like any other high quality solar garden light but will suprise any unsuspecting intruders who won't anticipate it's hidden PIR functionality. The Solar Power Security Light looks fantastic when wall mounted and is ideal for front / back doors, garages and sheds. Once fully charge the light can activate up to 50 times during dark hours and will automatically charge the rechargeable Ni-MH batteries the following day.

This light looks OK although somewhat plasticky. Unfortunatley I no longer use it as a welcome/security light at either the back or front door. It could not generate enough power to keep working through the night on either a south east or north west facing wall. Furthermore the pir is horizontal facing so placing the lamp at circa 4 ft high did not pick up movement our cat.
